Day 3 of Food Blog Forum ended just as it started… with amazing food! Whole Foods Orlando outdid themselves with an amazing array of incredible cuisine.
I hope you were able to read my recaps on Day 1 and Day 2. I really learned a lot, and I hope to grow as a blogger to improve your reading experience!
Food Blog Forum was an unforgettable experience and I’ll be eternally grateful to the hard work from organizers Lindsay, Julie, Jaden, Scott, Todd & Diane. FBF also had incredible sponsors that kindly donated their products to our HUGE swag bag! The swag bag + the foodie swap items I got on Day 2 literally took up one of my entire suitcases.
I was so touched by all of the generosity I experienced this weekend, I want to pay it forward – and share some of the swag!

love love your blog!! I get so many ideas from here-this is one of the first sites to open when I open my browser. I would like to see a little bit of the behind-the-scenes of the making. Also, some science behind the cooking. i.e Why you put in xyz before abc, you can/’t substitute x for y(this is helpful because I live in a small town and there is only one bakery store so supplies are limited). I don’t know if it is possible but vegan options? Thank you so much! Keep up the good cookin’!

Hello,
My name is katy knight and I have my blog ‘Katy’s cakes’ that you posted on recently.
I just wanted to ask you what cake recipe you use for your cake pops if you don’t mind telling me? It’s just that I’m having a complete nightmare with my cake pops and have tried to perfect that for so long but they’re still not great. Yours on the other hand look so good!
Look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Katy

I bake entirely gluten free, making cakes/cake balls much more dense. With the weight, I haven’t been able to get them to stay up on sticks for cake pops- they will break off the stick. Any suggestions? I don’t have this with regular cake mix, just the denser/heavier gluten free.
Thank you!!!
