Greetings everyone!
I haven’t forgotten about you loyal blog readers, I’ve just been a little busy planning my next event, the Orange County Cake Poppers Meet-Up. I hope to be back here soon & posting more often – thanks for sticking with me.
This morning, KC Bakes hit a pretty big milestone… our 1,000th order!!!
What started out as me being a baker frustrated with Styrofoam, has turned into a global product shipped throughout the US, and abroad to Canada, Australia, Belgium, the UK, Hong Kong, Switzerland, France, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Indonesia, New Zealand & Dubai – 1,772 stands and counting!
We absolutely could not have gotten here without the support of our family, friends and fans — all of your encouraging comments, emails and other shout-outs mean so much.

There are so many cute patterns that it’s hard to come up with something new. I like Janice’s suggestion about the Autism Awareness puzzle pattern. For some new suggestion from me… How about a pink princess crown for the girly girls.

I think Aardvark Straws should try and come up with some sort of glitter/sparkle pattern 🙂 glitter makes everything fun.
I would like to see sports (baseball, basketball, football, etc) 4 seasons of the year (fall leaves, winter snow flakes, spring flowers, summer beach) retro (cassettes, gamboy, boombox, Nintendo remote, ninjas, etc) there are endless possibilities. I am just thinking of trendy things now a days.

I would say Bling straws, chevron in a different colors. Also straws in color schemes so a straw that had maybe blue/yellow stripes or dots in various shades of blue on a straw..that would be cute.

First of all congratulations. Your stands are awesome. Now for straw themes, I could see them doing personalized straws. Like for weddings or baptisms. And of course, Christmas themed.

The paper straw design that Aardvark Straws should create is a rainbow design. Pretty simple and could go with a multitude of cake pop designs. Plus rainbows are so whimsical and make people happy! 🙂

I think they should make a straw with a green ribbon (the straw would be white). Simple, I know. But it would be to help support safer schools across the world. (For anyone who may not understand, Green & White are the colors of the elementary school in Sandy Hook, Ct. Were sadly, 26 lives were taken)

Mmm, first I want to say congrats. I follow you on IG and I admire the things you post. I think the next straw design should either have cupcake or slices of cakes or something to raise awarness for Sickle Cell. I personally don’t see many people raising awareness for Sickle Cell, and it is a disease that affects a lot of people (me personally). Not many people live to tell their story about their fight against it. So yea I would love to see a design for Sickle Cell 🙂
