This morning, me, hubby & our friend Amanda participated in The Color Run – quite possibly THE coolest 5K I’ve ever done.
It was untimed, so the focus was on fun, not competition. They told us that Philadelphia’s registration – over 23,000 runners – made it the 3rd largest 5K in the country!
As you run past each kilometer, there’s a different “color” to run through! The color is a powdery substance – I believe I read that its colored corn starch. I’d say 99% of it washed off… I still have a few color spots that I just can’t scrub off, haha, but that’s ok.
